Hello!

I am single, never been married. I live in a small town, however I attend a wonderful church in Chattanooga, TN. (Nina, thank you so much for inviting me! ) 

I started this group because I have met lots of people who like to travel but they say they don't have anyone to travel with and don't want to travel alone. Some even say they are waiting on their husband/wife to travel, some would like to travel but money may be an issue because its cheaper to travel with a buddy. Also, when I lived in Birmingham I went to a church that had a Singles ministry. (Shout Out: Faith Chapel Christian Center - Love you Pastor Mike!) I eventually found a small group out here, but, not a singles ministry. The past couple of years I have known several married couples having problems and some even divorcing. I have even met a wonderful Lady who started a ministry for widowed women. I finally asked the LORD about my purpose and all the things that I had been experiencing. I obviously love to travel, but the LORD laid it on my heart as a ministry. Many singles feel that they are alone in their particular situation. That is simply not the case. I think it is also a little harder on those who may not have access to a singles ministry.

First I was in denial, then just plain procrastination and fear took over. Whatever stage I was in my Pastor seemed to be ministering on that subject. (Love you Pastor RJ! Thank you so much for all that you do.) So, here I am finally after 3 years stepping out on faith and doing what I believe I have been called to do.
